Hey all....we'll we're finally wrapping up the changes to the constitution rules, etc. Now we need to think about a date for the keepers and MLB draft start.
I checked and last year we started drafting in early December, but then again we had 16 teams and no keepers at that point. But we did still end up going right up to the start of the season with the minor league draft.
Each team will have 24 hours to make their selection, however it is encouraged that you don't take that long if possible, and if you think you won't be able to make a pick in a timely manner, buddy up with someone who you can send your top 5 choices for a round to and let them choose for you to keep the draft moving. Nothing is worse than when it slows to 1 pick a day and people start getting skipped, etc.
Anyhow, i'm thinking if we get going the beginning of January we should be good...keepers maybe make them due Dec. 1. What do you all think?

I think everyone has already started thinking about who to keep so I think that works. I like to buy at least one of the fantasy baseball magazines for the draft. When do they come out? Also I might spend a little extra to get one of the prospect books.
